Judith Moy is a composer based in Los Angeles. Films that feature her scores have premiered around the world at various festivals and screenings. Her most recent score for a feature film by Evening Squire Productions will premiere in 2024.

After graduating from the Kettle Moraine School for Arts and Performance, Judith moved to New York to pursue both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music composition and screen scoring at New York University. As a student, her music for the animated short Snowdrifters was awarded “Best Original Score” at the NYU Tisch First Run Festival. Upon her move to Los Angeles, she spent a year working at Hans Zimmer and Sony/ATV's Bleeding Fingers Music. There, under the mentorship of Emmy-winning composer Denise Santos, she worked on projects including Eden: Untamed Planet (BBC) and Island Of The Sea Wolves (Netflix), and wrote music for the reality competition show Alone (History Channel). Judith has also worked in music departments for productions including What We Do In The Shadows (FX), Best Foot Forward (AppleTV+), Organ Trail (Paramount), Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts (Paramount), and Young Rock (NBC). Recently, she has worked under the mentorship of Nathan Matthew David on projects including Joy Ride (Lionsgate), Stephen Curry: Underrated (A24/AppleTV+), and The Brothers Sun (Netflix). In 2021, Judith was awarded the “Best Original Score” award at the Haunted Garage Horror Festival for her work on Cook With The Heart. In 2023 she was awarded “Best Song” alongside composer Matthew Wang for their work on Grand Street: Magic Maiden at the Chinatown International Film Festival. Her next score for a feature film by Evening Squire Productions will premiere in 2024.
